I've had my Oakley Hikers for just over six months now. I bought them to use as an everyday shoe with some light hiking. Now with several hundred miles on them I can say that I like them. They broke in almost instantly and have worn very well. They aren't waterproof but take well to some weather, light rain or dew covered grass has caused no wet socks. The laces leave something to be desired. Somehow Oakley made the laces very slick and even double knotted they have a hard time staying tied. That of course is an easy enough fix. I am quite happy with my shoes and can recommend them highly. The ability to make great glasses doesn't naturally transfer over to shoes, but Oakley has done well with these.
